Common questions
How do I calculate a discount?
Multiply the price by the discount percentage divided by 100 to get the saving, then subtract it from the price.
How do stacked discounts work?
They apply in sequence. A 25% then 10% off isn’t 35% off — it’s 0.75 × 0.90 = 0.675, so 32.5% off overall.
What’s the final price after a percent off?
Multiply the price by one minus the discount as a decimal. 25% off $80 is $80 × 0.75 = $60.
