The method behind this calculator
Saturn takes just under twenty-nine and a half years to orbit the Sun, so it returns to the position it held at your birth roughly every twenty-nine and a half years. The first return lands in the late twenties, which is why it gets talked about.
The dates here use Saturn’s mean period. The real return is spread out, because Saturn appears to reverse direction for months at a time and can cross the same degree three times before settling — so a window of a year either side is more honest than a single date.
