The method behind this calculator
Age in years, months and days needs care at month boundaries, since months have different lengths. The calculator borrows days from the previous month the way a proper date difference should, rather than assuming every month is thirty days.
The day-of-week calculation works from the actual calendar, so it handles leap years and the varying start day of each year correctly.
